ECGC Ltd. has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill up 50 vacancies for the post of Probationary Officer in the cadre of Executive Officer through the official website. The candidates will be selected for the post based on their performance in the written exam and interview. ECGC PO Selection Process 2024 for Written Exam
The first stage of the ECGC PO Selection Process 2024 shall be a written exam. The online ECGC Probationary Officer written exam is scheduled on 16.11.2024 (tentatively) Each aspirant will be required to score a minimum mark in each test of the Online Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be called to appear for an interview. Based on the availability of a number of vacancies, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be called to appear for an interview. - An online screening test comprising two papers (Multiple Choice questions of 200 marks followed by a Descriptive Paper of 40 marks) will be conducted.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 of the marks for every wrong answer in the Objective Tests.
- The corrected scores secured by each of the aspirants in different sessions (if held) will be normalized with the help of the equi-percentile method. Scores up to two decimal points shall be considered for calculation purposes.

ECGC PO Selection Process 2024 for Interview
The next stage of the ECGC PO Selection Process 2024 shall be an interview. Candidates declared successful in the Online Examination will be shortlisted for an interview to be held by the Company in Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Bangalore. The ECGC PO interview round carries a total of 60. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/ PWBD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of the online exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The following documents in original and self-attested photocopies regarding the candidate’s eligibility and identity must be submitted during the interview failing which the aspirant may not be allowed to appear for the interview. The list of documents required for verification is as follows:
- Printout of the valid Interview Call Letter.
- Valid system-generated printout of the online application form registered for the Recruitment process.
- Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate issued by the competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC/Std. X Certificate with DOB)
- Photo Identity Proof as indicated in Point I of the advertisement
- Marks-sheets and certificates for Graduation or qualifying degree examination etc.
- Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India in the case of SC/ST/OBC category candidates.
- Income and Asset Certificate issued by any one of the Authorities as notified by the Government of India in the prescribed format in the case of EWS category
candidates. - The latest Valid Disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by the District Medical Board in the case of Persons with Benchmark Disability category
ECGC PO Final Merit List
The ECGC PO final merit list will be prepared based on the performance and merit of the aspirants in the Online Exam and Interview, taken together. The weightage (ratio) of the Online Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively. Upon completing the interview process, based on the business requirements of the Company, candidates shortlisted will be issued with a joining letter based on merit considering the spirit of Government Guidelines on reservation policy, various guidelines issued by the Government of India/Others from time to time, administrative exigency, etc.
